The 42nd Annual Baltimore Bach Marathon
March 18, 2018, from 1-6:30 pm
The 42nd Annual Baltimore Bach Marathon continues the tradition of providing some of the best offerings of Baroque music in Baltimore. This year we welcome a range of organists including Paula Maust and Paul Binko; Lavena Johanson continues to perform the cycle of solo 'cello suites; and at 4 pm the Choir of St David's, together with chamber orchestra, perform the Passion According to John, conducted by Director of Music Ministries Dr. Douglas Buchanan.
A suggested donation of $5 per hour attended supports the musicians you hear on the marathon. Refreshements are available for purchase beginning at 2 pm to sustain you through the musical feast. Come for a single performer, an hour, or for the whole event! Until then, be sure to visit our YouTube channel to hear past performance from the Marathon!
