The 41st Annual Baltimore Bach Marathon

March 19, 2017, from 2-7 pm

The Baltimore Bach Marathon enters its forty-first with a collection of organ, vocal, instrumental, and choral works by the great master! Hear local organists Bert Landman, Mary Hamlin-Spencer, and Douglas Buchanan perform beloved preludes and fugues and chorale preludes, witness Bach's humor in the secular cantatas performed by Charm City Baroque, and partake of the sumptuous instrumental works for solo and for chamber ensemble, all capped off with the joyous motet, Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied, sung by the Choir of St. David's! Listen for an hour, or come for the whole afternoon!

A suggested donation of $5 per hour attended supports the musicians you hear on the marathon. Refreshments are available for purchase at 4:00 pm downstairs in the Great Hall.

The Choir of St. David's, under the direction of Dr. Douglas Buchanan,

performs Bach's motet Singet dem Herrn ein neues Lied,

from a concert given March 3, 2017.
